ARTELA & CO BV was founded in Mortsel, Belgium in 2010.
Its founder, Peter Borgmans has been supplying mill direct FR textiles to the hospitality and cruise industry worldwide for the past 25 years.
Only 10 years ago , he decided to start his own venture and expand his range with several European FR textile lines for in and outdoor applications.
The passion for textiles and the understanding of the needs of our clients in these challenging industries have taken us where we are today. Our technical skills serve very often as an extra advantage to our customers.
Since the start up of ARTELA, we have focused on both ‘high performance’ light weight and heavy weight contract fabrics that meet the FR requirements world wide.
At ARTELA, we take pride in being a dynamic team that collaborates with designers and contractors all over the world.
Alongside the FR textile venture, Peter and his wife, Nadine have established a showroom in Boechout near Antwerp, Belgium, offering not only residential fabrics and window treatment systems, but also a wide range of contemporary European design furniture and accessories for the residential and hospitality market.
